1. Install the battery. Insert one 9-volt battery (not included) into the battery compartment before first use.
2. Place the wedge. Slide the narrow end of the wedge under the door gap on the interior side. Position it so the door would push against the wedge on opening.
3. Set sensitivity. Adjust the sensitivity dial to High, Medium, or Low based on your environment. High for quiet, private rooms; Low for high-traffic areas with background vibration.
4. Switch to ON. Flip the ON/OFF switch to arm the alarm.
5. Before opening the door yourself: Switch to OFF or remove the wedge. The alarm fires on door pressure — disarm before any intentional door opening.
6. Travel placement: In a hotel or temporary room, place the wedge on the night you arrive. Remove and pack before checkout.
