1. Attach to your key ring. Thread the key ring through the alarm's attachment point. The unit should be accessible from your dominant hand when you grab your keys.
2. Carry every day. The alarm's value is entirely dependent on it being with you. Keychain carry removes the decision — if your keys are with you, the alarm is with you.
3. When needed: wrap your hand around the unit and squeeze the sides firmly. The alarm activates immediately.
4. Hold the activation. Keep the squeeze held — the alarm continues as long as the sides are compressed. Release to stop.
5. Move to a populated, well-lit area. Use the LED to assist navigation in low-light conditions.
6. Replace the battery when alarm volume weakens significantly. Consult the included instructions for battery type.
Test the alarm periodically (outdoors or away from sensitive hearing) to confirm it's functioning and the battery is adequate.
