Step 1 — Arm the stun: Slide the Function Switch up until it clicks twice. A single click activates only the LED — the stun cannot fire from a single click. The red Stun Warning Light confirms the baton is armed.

Step 2 — Fire: Press the Stun Activation Button to discharge. Both steps are required — neither can be completed accidentally during carry or sheath storage.

Grab-Guard safety note: The Grab-Guard strips are only live when the baton is armed AND the Stun Activation Button is actively held. Do not grip the shaft above the handle zone when the baton is in this state.

1. Charge before first use. Connect the included cord and AC adapter to a standard wall outlet. The charging indicator light confirms active charging. Initial charge: approximately 8 hours — do not exceed 8 hours. Recharge every ~60 days in storage, or sooner if arc output or LED brightness weakens.
2. Holster for carry. Slide the baton into the included nylon sheath and clip to a belt loop, pack strap, or equipment bag. Loop the wrist strap for retention during active carry.
3. Establish reach. The 18-inch length is your first tool. Use the baton's visible presence and physical distance to create and maintain space before any situation escalates further.
4. Activate the LED first. Slide the Function Switch up once. Cycle through High / Low / Strobe with additional taps. Illuminate, identify, and — if needed — disorient via Strobe. Do not skip this step.
5. Arm the stun if escalation is unavoidable. Slide the Function Switch up until it clicks twice. The red Stun Warning Light confirms the baton is armed. Grab-Guard strips are now live — avoid touching the shaft above the grip zone yourself.
6. Press the Stun Activation Button to fire. The audible arc is a deterrent before and during contact.
7. Create distance and call for help. The effect is temporary — use the window to move to safety.
